folgendes Problem: Router 1783VA-4G mit LCOS 9.20.0565
SIM-Card zum Vertrag Telekom "Call & Surf via Funk S" mit ausschließlicher LTE-Nutzung. APN: internet.home
Anmerkung zum Vertrag: Die SIM-Card kann meines Wissens nur für LTE-Zugang genutzt werden und hat KEINE eigene (Handy-)Telefonnummer und kann somit (leider) auch NICHT für SMS genutzt werden. Das war mir bis dahin so auch nicht bewusst, da ich gerade die SMS-Funktion des Lancom-Routers für PublicSpot nutzen wollte...
Jetzt das Problem: Sende ich über CLI eine SMS (smssend...) dann bricht sofort die LTE-Mobilfunkverbindung zusammen. LANmonitor meldet daraufhin "Warten auf das Modul" gefolgt von Rücksetzen des Moduls und Anmeldeversuchen die aber dauerhaft scheitern. Vermutlich will das Modul ja in das 3G-Netz wechseln, da SMS über LTE vermutlich nicht geht? Das zieht sich so über Stunden dahin...
Unter Status/SMS/Ausgang steht nach wie vor Sendeversuche: 0
Unter Setup/SMS/Maximale-Sende-Versuche steht 2
Die nicht gesendete SMS bleibt im Ausgang stehen. Ein Löschen der ungesendeten SMS führt in der Folge wieder zum Verbindugnsaufbau zum LTE-Mobilfunknetz.
Hier müsste Lancom bitte noch einmal nachbessern, da der Router offensichtlich das Scheitern der Einbuchung außerhalb des LTE-Netzes nicht als fehlerhaften SMS-Sendeversuch interpretiert?
Und noch eine Anmerkung: Ist es richtig und gewollt, dass KEIN SMS-Versand über das WebInterface möglich ist? Ich habe ewig gesucht - und im WebInterface keine Möglichkeit des SMS-Versands gefunden. Demnach geht der SMS-Versand nur über CLI oder LANmonitor?
Ach ja: Bei SMS-Versand über LANmonitor 9.20.0080 bleibt das "SMS-Nachrichten senden"-Fenster nach Klick auf "Senden" (Schalfläche dann ausgegraut) dauerhaft stehen und die Nachricht erscheint auch nicht im Gerätebaum im LANmonitor. Da wird wohl die SMS nicht an das Gerät übergeben, obwohl die Schreibrechte für das Gerät im LANmonitor richtig gesetzt sind!?
Ich hatte vergeblich nach einem SMS-Trace gesucht. Im Serial-Trace konnte ich nicht wirklich was Verwertbares bzgl. SMS finden. Vermutlich aber auch, da es ja gar nicht zu einem Sendeversuch kommt?

Genau das hatte mich auch mal einige Stunden gekostet, aber du bist fast am Ziel: Du musst die Nachrichten noch Decodieren. https://www.diafaan.com/sms-tutorials/g ... u-decoder/ Sind diese langen Zeilen im Serial-Trace bestehend aus vielleicht 30-100 Hexzeichen.stefanbunzel hat geschrieben: Ich hatte vergeblich nach einem SMS-Trace gesucht. Im Serial-Trace konnte ich nicht wirklich was Verwertbares bzgl. SMS finden. Vermutlich aber auch, da es ja gar nicht zu einem Sendeversuch kommt?

Der SMS-Versand über LTE ist auf 2 Arten möglich, entweder als SMS over IMS (IMS verwendet SIP) oder als SMS over SGs. Letzteres wird momentan bei LANCOM WWAN-Routern verwendet.
Der SMS-Versand funktioniert in Kombination mit einem passenden Tarif sowohl bei 2G, 3G als auch 4G. Gerade noch mal getestet (T-Mobile Netz).

vielen Dank für die interessanten Infos. Dann scheint bei mir der scheiternde Versand also wirklich am nicht passenden Tarif meines Providers (Telekom) zu liegen. Meine SIM-Card hat ja auch keine Handy-Nummer und ist lt. Provider-Vertrag auch nur für Internetzugang gedacht.
Ich hoffe, dass im Trace was zu finden ist?
Wie bereits gesagt: In diesem Zustand baut sich keine nutzbare LTE-Verbundung mehr auf bzw. wird sie ständig wieder unterbrochen und die SMS bleibt ungesendet im Postausgang hängen. Nur en manuelles Löschen der SMS führt dazu, dass sich die LTE-Verbindugn wieder dauerhaft aufbaut und nutzbar ist.

Wie bereits gesagt: In diesem Zustand baut sich keine nutzbare LTE-Verbundung mehr auf bzw. wird sie ständig wieder unterbrochen und die SMS bleibt ungesendet im Postausgang hängen. Nur en manuelles Löschen der SMS führt dazu, dass sich die LTE-Verbindugn wieder dauerhaft aufbaut und nutzbar ist.
