Mac und band steering

Hi
ich habe nach längerem rumspielen festgestellt das Apple anscheinend mit dem Bandsteering(2,4GHz --> 5GHz) so seine Probleme hat.
Wenn ich das mit einem Apple AirPort Express mache geht es bei einem 460agn hängt die Verbindung dann.
Im Moment mit der 9.0RC1

Werde mal ein bischen rumspielen und mich melden wenn ich mehr indizien habe.

Anbei ein Auszug aus dem Log.
d0 ist das 2,4GHz Modul und d2 ist das 5GHz Modul.
Am Schluss roamed der Mac nicht mehr da ich Bandsteering abgeschaltet habe.

Moin,

Reason Code 2 = "Previous Authentication no longer valid". Zumindest bei einer schnellen Suche über den WLAN-Stack im LCOS finde ich keine Stelle, wo das LANCOM so einen Deauth/Disassoc verschicken würde...

Hi

Ich hatte hier die MacLog Einträge rangehängt und nicht die vom Lancom.

Und ich sas bei der Sitzung gemütlich auf dem Sofa und habe mich nicht bewegt .

Anbei die vom Lancom, da sieht man auch schön dass der EPSON Drucker auch so seine Probleme hat.

Bin mal wieder auf die 8.84 zuück mal sehen ob das besser geht.

Ich hatte hier die MacLog Einträge rangehängt und nicht die vom Lancom.

Das hatte ich wohl gesehen, aber die Reason-Codes sind im IEEE-Standard festgelegt...

"client unreachable for one minute" bedeutet, daß Du die Stationsüberwachung eingeschaltet hast und der Client nicht mehr auf die Test-Pakete reagiert, die das LANCOM dann ~alle 10 Sekunden schickt. Mit Client/Band-Steering hat das nichts zu tun...

danke für die Info.
Da schaue ich mal wie ich das abschalte in der Lancom. Denn ich habe während ich ruasgeflogen bin eigentlich
ne DVD vom NAS auf den MAc kopiert. Kann natürlich sein dass dann der Träger belegt war und der Mac da noch defizite hat in time zu reagieren.
