Hello,
When I set the interface protocol of the ADSL-line to Auto the ADSL-connection is dropped every 2 to 5 minutes. System info says the line mode is G.992.3 (ADSL2). If the line mode is set to G.992.1 the connection is stable, but I guess I won't get the max out of the downstream rate. I have had this before with a 1621 where I had to set the line mode manually, but that was due to older hardware. What could be wrong here.
Regards,
Henry

Well, the ADSL2+ linecode for Annex B is the first version we got that synchronizes at the Infineon based DSLAMs with the most recent firmware. Since the DSLAM firmwares still are evolving very fast and there are many different combinations of chipset and firmware in the real world, it is not guaranteed that you will get a stable connection at every DSLAM that offeres ADSL2 or ADSL2+. I think it will last several month and some more firmware and linecode versions until you will be able to connect any ADSL2+ modem to any ADLS2+ DSLAM.Henry hat geschrieben:When I set the interface protocol of the ADSL-line to Auto the ADSL-connection is dropped every 2 to 5 minutes.
