Since i've installed new firmware on our LC1721 (7.23.0016) I get a dns-error from the UNIX-systems:
[DNS] 2007/09/13 11:02:45,080 : DNS Rx (LAN-1, INTRANET): Src-IP 192.0.1.5
Query Request: unsupported type/class: 00ff0001 for procura.nl
Unsupported request to own domain => not forwarded
old situation (6.23.0021):
[DNS] 2007/09/13 11:18:29,440
DNS Rx (LAN): Src-IP 192.0.1.5
Name Query: unsupported type/class: 00ff0001 for procura.nl
Unsupported request => forward to next server
NameQuery: Forward to route XS4ALL
I don't have a clue. Somebody?

DNS error

Hi Henry
you can achieve the same result with the actual firtmware, when you add an forwarding for the own domain to the DNS forwarding table (TCP/IP -> DNS -> Forwarding)

if the LANCOM works as DNS server, it is the authority for its own domain. This means requests for the own domain (here: procura.nl) are answered by the LANCOM. If the LANCOM can't respond, it will report an error.Since i've installed new firmware on our LC1721 (7.23.0016) I get a dns-error from the UNIX-systems:

strictly speaking: this was a bug in the old firmware.old situation (6.23.0021):
[DNS] 2007/09/13 11:18:29,440
DNS Rx (LAN): Src-IP 192.0.1.5
